New Things in Store for Heavenly Tea Leaves

It is said that embracing change is the key to an enriching and satisfying life. In fact, you could say that evolution has become something of a guiding principle for the Heavenly Tea Leaves team. 

That being said, it was only natural to head down the path of a full rebrand…and we don’t just mean a facelift. While we constantly make tweaks behind the scenes, recently, there has been something more significant in the works. We’ve explored each aspect of the company and done our due diligence on how we can make it better, leading to a bottom-up evolution that we owe our loyal (and new!) customers. 

Not to worry—we’ve retained the taste and quality standards of our tea selection, but now are offering more in the way of look and feel, packaging, tea offerings, environmental approach and more. Here are a few of the ways we are amping up our company and outlook.

A Conscious Approach

For the first time, Heavenly Tea Leaves will offer sustainably produced tea bags—with the same whole-leaf goodness of the loose kind with the benefit of a convenient, compostable pyramid sachet that’s safe for hot water since it’s 100% plastic-free. It comes in some of our most popular flavors, all organic: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Lemon Ginger, Peppermint and Jasmine Green. We’re also committing to having all of our teas be 100% organic, ensuring our brews can always be trusted. While we will be bringing back some non-organic teas in new, organic versions, this commitment also means saying goodbye to some varieties. Aiding stewardship of the planet, we will also continue to use PLA-lined kraft paper packaging that’s compostable for our loose leaf (non-bulk) offerings, and we are even offering carbon-neutral shipping on orders. Going green has a whole new definition at our HQ starting 2024, and we will continue to strive to do more.

Honoring Our Family & Community Focus

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in the early 2000s, our founder Noushin began exploring the health-promoting properties of green tea. Slowly, this curiosity bloomed into a full-on passion, and Heavenly Tea Leaves was born, and the family joined to help bring the full vision to life. From the very start, there was an ethos of bringing people together, nurturing well-being through gathering, and creating a moment of calm and routine in everyday life. This stems from a deep belief in tea not as a commodity, but as a communal ritual. Now more than ever, this family-forward ethos continues to drive our company forward.

New Look & Feel

Although our old logo was nothing to sneeze at, we’ve taken a more modern approach with a whole new visual identity for our packaging and communications that’s as fresh as our updated assortment, including colors with more pop, clearer typeface and more descriptive packages. We’re also working on delivering more content, so you can learn and grow along with us, and stay informed on the latest insights, news, tips and more. Our aim was to create a more modern look that communicated our core values and didn't stray too far away from the brand you have come to know and love.

While not every change is worth celebrating, the ones we have coming up definitely are. With plenty of updates in the pipeline, our mission remains the same: bringing you premium teas and botanicals from around the globe.
